About

When I was 17, I began formally studying the Meisner technique at Playhouse West in Los Angeles, where I spent three years immersed in truthful behavior, emotional preparation, and authentic connection.

During this time period, I also studied privately under a teacher from the American Film Institute where I worked with many AFI students along with Oscar winning directors- an experience that deepened my understanding of both performance and storytelling from the filmmaker’s perspective.

In 2017 I began studying under award winning director Sal Romeo at his LA based theater company, Friends & Artists. It was here that I first became introduced to The Method and a love for teaching. In 2020, I entered a mentorship with Sal where under his direction, I began to grow as a teacher, learned to guide students through sense memory and help them cultivate their own process.

Along with relaxation and sense memory work, I developed an even deeper understanding of the Meisner Technique and how the two techniques often thought to be opposing, commingle together to make an extremely well rounded, instinctive actor.

After moving to NYC in 2021, I began co-teaching with Sal until his passing in 2024 at which point I fully assumed the role of teaching his class while expanding my own NYC- based studio. Here, I have coached actors across the theatre and television communities, guiding them toward recurring guest-star and series- regular roles.

I’m a life-long student of the craft and began studying under David Gideon, Lee Strasberg’s protege, in 2024 where I continue to study weekly.

In addition to my training and teaching, I have booked film and television roles, working with actors such as Tom Arnold, Ron Pearlman, Richard Riehle, Patrick Flueger, Taryn Manning, and Jeremy Davies.

Teaching the Process

  • I believe in creating space for artistic self discovery through craft. Allowing the merging of two techniques, Meisner and Method, to form the actor’s personal process.

My intuitive teaching style allows me to cater to each student individually while maintaining honest and sharp teaching.

  • I am an amalgamation of my life experiences and my acting lessons. Meisner taught me deep listening. Not to only hear from words but sensitive listening that speaks to intuition. I am the daughter, partner, friend and teacher I am today because of the lessons Meisner gave me.

Method taught me response to the small things is a big thing. That relaxation is not just an acting habit, it is a life habit. I am more present with my loved ones, grounded in tough times and fun times and have a connected relationship full of gratitude with my body and all it does because of Strasberg’s Method.
