The Strasberg Class
This class is purely a Strasberg Method class. No if’s, and’s, or but’s about it. It is not my interpretation of the work, it is a direct line of Strasberg’s work in how he taught it and in how it is taught to me. In this class you will learn Strasberg’s relaxation technique chair work and by- the- book sense memory. The second half of this class is dedicated to working our sense memory through the practice of scene work.
The Meisner Class
This class is dedicated to all things Meisner. In this class we sharpen the actor’s instrument with focus on Meisner’s repetition exercise through doors and activities.
We begin with the basic teachings of Meisner and work our way up to advanced doors, activities and explore other Meisner exercises such as alone’s and fantasies. Each student will work scene study every other week. This class is recommended for writers exploring acting.
